I am a behavioral ecologist whose research interests lie mainly in questions addressing how environmental factors, especially the ones modified by human activities, lead to variation in animal populations and communities, particularly but not restricted to behavioral aspects. Due to the fact that behavioral responses are often closely related to physiological and genetic traits, I am also interested in assessing underlying mechanisms of variation, as well as the integration of these traits.
